Peter Michael Hamel

Born 1947 in Munich, student of Büchtger and Bialas, musicology with Georgiades and Dahlhaus improvisation group Between, work with political cabaret, experimental avant-garde and electronics, collaboration with Cage, Feldman, Ferrari, Orff, Riedl, Riley and Stockhausen, worldwide activity as a self performing artist (keyboard and voice), music theatre, orchestral, choral and chamber music works (Bärenreiter/E.R.P./Schott).

From 1997-2012 professor at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, 1998 foundation of the Intercultural Music Institute in Aschau im Chiemgau.

Born in Stuttgart, 1955. Percussion and piano at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich.

Jazz drums with Peter Giger and others Talking drum with Sungalo Sanou in Burkina Faso - Rhaita (Moroccan oboe) in Morocco. Shenai (North Indian oboe) with old master Kanhia Lal and son Souhan Lal in Benares (Varanasi, North India). Benoo (North Indian Ney flute) with H. Chakravarty also in Benares. Scarazula group, member of the world music collective EMBRYO , KOBZAVAJK from Hungary, collaboration with Dali TOITI Tunisia, Hadi Alizadeh Iran, regular in Morocco, guest musician with Paco GHIWANE, Gnaoa-Festival in Essaoira 2013, Various radio broadcasts and live performances about Moroccan Sufi brotherhoods, Gnaoa, Hamacha, Jilala and Aissaoua.
