Reissue of the classic with bonus tracks.

Checkpoint Charlie, a cornerstone of German rock music, have re-released two of their classics for the first time on CD. Provocation in words and music, no consideration for good taste, unmasking of petty pseudo-idyll, cynicism and hopeful faith in the future, the crudest fecal language and complex sound collages: Artistic barriers are nonexistent with Checkpoint Charlie.

The band from Karlsruhe reformed in 2002, had an outstanding appearance at the Burg Herzberg Festival and is also on tour in the early summer 2003.

Besides the classics “Smogalarm” and “Hitler in Dosen” on the “Durchsichtigen” or “Besatzer Raus” and “Fetter Tod” on the “Feuer und Flamme” there are numerous bonus tracks on the CDs, with partly previously unreleased material.
